Home Remedies For Oily Hair
If you have oily hair, it could be hard to keep it away from becoming greasy. There are some easy things you can do to reduce or even resolve your oily hair problem. Oily hair needs to be cleaned every day from preventing hair fall, dandruff and other skin infection on the scalp. The oiliness of the hair makes it appear as stringy and filthy even though you wash your hair regularly. Oil on the scalp is essential to keep the scalp healthy and to prevent the damages to the hair such as split ends and provide a good sheen. Oily hair may cause dandruff and itching also. The following are some home remedies that you may try out to get effective results in oily hair promlems.

Shampoo Everyday
If you have oily hair, then the best way to get rid of excess oil in your hair is to shampoo your hair every day. This could help you to keep your hair free from oil and make it clean and look beautiful.

Mint Rinse
Mint leaves can also be used for removing greasiness of the hair. Boil a handful of mint leaves in two glasses of water for 15-20 minutes. Add this mixture to the shampoo and apply on your hair. Mint has a stringent property which can removes excess oils from your hair.

Aloe Vera Gel
One of the best home remedies to care oily hair is the use of aloe vera gel. You may use any shampoo mixed the aloe vera gel to get rid of oily hair.
In a cup of mild shampoo mix a tablespoon of lemon juice along with one teaspoon of aloe vera gel that you have taken out from a fresh aloe vera. Mix this well and apply the required amount on your oily hair, leave it to react on your hair for a few minutes and then rinse it off completely.

Egg Yolk
Take 2 egg yolks and beat it well. In this egg yolk mixture, add a few drops of lemon juice and mix it well once again. Now apply this mixture on your wet hair and leave it for 5 minute. Rinse it off thoroughly.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar can be used for the care of oily hair. Make sure that you only use diluted apple cider vinegar on your hair. Add 2-3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar or white vinegar in a mug of water and mix it well. Now rinse your hair with this mixture and wash it off after a few minutes. Continue this process at least thrice a week in order to get rid of oily hair problems.

Witch Hazel Oil
Take a bottle of witch hazel oil. Take 4 drops of witch hazel oil and mix it with 2 tablespoons of water well. Wipe cotton ball in this mixture and then apply this cotton ball on your scalp. This would help in reducing the oiliness of the hair. Keep on doing this process three to four times a week or every day for better result.

Bath Soap
Use bath soap just once a week on your hair to get free from excess oil. Use bath soap on your hair while you are bathing. Apply it on your scalp and hair and use your hands to bring out a rich layer. Leave it for 2 minute and wash it off completely. It could be harmful for your hair if be used for long run.

Tea
Boil tea leaves or tea powder in a glass of water. Apply this lukewarm tea mixture on your scalp and hair. Leave it there 3-5 minute. Rinse it off with water and shampoo your hair to get relief from oily hair.

Alcohol
Mix one glass of Vodka with two glasses of water. Rinse your hair with this vodka mixture and leave it for a few minutes. Wash it off. It will make your hair dry in few minutes. You may also use this mix as a spray on your hair to get rid of excess oil in minutes.
Make sure that you would use diluted beer only on your hair. Mix a glass of beer with a glass of water. Apply it to final rinse of your washed hair. Leave it for 3-5 minute.
Rinse it off well through water.

Honey
Take two teaspoons of pure honey and add one egg yolk to this. Mix it well and allow it to dissolve for 30 minutes. Now apply this mixture on your hair well and massage your hair for a few minutes. Leave this mixture on your hair as well as scalp for 20 minute. Rinse it well and then apply a deep shampoo to wash your hair.

Lemon Juice
Take a lemon and extract the juice out of this lemon. Take this lemon juice in a cup of water and to this mixture add three teaspoons of honey. Mix these well and allow this mixture to dissolve completely. Apply this mixture on your hair and leave it for 3-4 minute. Wash it off with a mild shampoo. Lemon juice is a very good for hair care. Lemon juice is said to be a proven home remedy to treat oily hair.

Henna
Add 3 teaspoons of henna powder in a bowl and mix it with one egg. To this mixture add 2 tablespoons of honey and a tablespoon of olive oil. Mix all ingredients well. Add warm water to this mixture to make a smooth paste. Apply this paste to your oily hair from the root to the tip uniformly. Cover your coated hair with a plastic bag and towel. Leave it for 2 hours. Wash your hair thoroughly and after then use a mild shampoo to clean your hair.

Mix six tablespoons of henna with 3 cup of water. Mix it comprehensively to make a smooth paste. Now apply this paste on your hair and leave it till the paste dries on your hair. Rinse your hair with lime water.

Baking Soda
You may use it by mixing it with water alone. Take one tablespoon of baking soda in a cup of water and wash your hair thoroughly with this mixture. You may also use baking soda with an ordinary shampoo and rinse your hair thoroughly with it. Use it twice a week to get excellent results.
