Baldness or hair loss problem is the most common problem in men. It is actually a condition, in which a person has no or very less hair on the head. In medical terminology, it is called alopecia. The main reason behind baldness or alopecia is heredity or male sex hormones. The hairline slowly moves away and the hair becomes weaker and thinner. The extreme form of baldness is alopecia totalis, in which, men tend to lose overall head hair.
Signs And Symptoms Of Baldness
Signs of baldness and hair loss conditions vary between men, women and children.They are:-
Sudden loss of patches of hair, A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen.
Complete loss of all hair on the body, Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer.
Patches of broken hairs and incomplete hair loss on the scalp and/or eyebrows.
Excessive shedding of hair, but not complete baldness, after various illnesses and drug treatments, rapid weight loss, anemia, or stress.
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting both men and women as they age.
Causes of Baldness
It is the most noticeable problem in men, which may be due to numerous reasons or due to a combination of various factors mentioned below:-

• Lack of iron and proteins,
• Excessive consumption of vitamin A,
• Scalp infection,
• Tight hair styles,
• Too much use of drying and straightening machines on hair,
• Birth control oral contraceptives,
• Drugs intake,
• Stress and tension,
• Sudden weight loss,
• Pregnancy or Menopause,
• Deadly disease, like cancer,
• Thyroid disorders,
• Changes in diet,
• Short or long-term illness,
• Medical conditions, like anaemia
